Hong Kong Trip Day 4/4: Avenue of Stars and Home Coming

Next morning, we met at 1000 Hr to check out and went for breakfast.

We were trying to find the stall where Joanne ate the wanton noodle the day before.

We could not find it. In the end we went to a stall near our hotel.

The outside of the stall.

抢劫啊!

On the way to the Avenue of Stars.

At the Avenue of Stars ..

要下雨了吗?

斩!

Our accidental star.

Ta dah!!

Well, weather was bad. It was very foggy and we could not see the other side of the shore.

I'm flying!

Cut!

Next, we went back to Mongkok. I followed Gary to shop for camera gears while the rest went another shopping center which I had forgotten the name.

We went back to the hotel and collected our luggage and boarded the bus which we had hired through the hotel to the airport. Along the way we passed by part of the route we ran over yesterday.

Going up Stonecutters Bridge.

Stonecutters Bridge. We ran on the other side of the road yesterday.

Stonecutters Bridge.

Tsing Ma Bridge.

Going through the route again surely brought back memories of running through them. :)

Our flight was Jetstar 3K 696 at 2015 Hr. We had dinner at the airport before boarding the plane.

My BIB, medal and event shirt.

With this, the HK trip is concluded. We definitely had lots of laughter and fun. We scored our PB. We pushed ourselves to a level we never knew we could have reached. We gained new understanding of ourselves as well as each other. We have more confidence of ourselves. I would say that all of us grew and moved forward after running this HK marathon.

Tomorrow, we will go back to our own life again. There will be more races coming up for us soon but not every one of us will participate. There will be biathlon, triathlon, duathlon and many more marathons to come.

The next trip which all of us look forward to, where all of us will run together again, will be Standard Chartered Bangkok Marathon. Sawatdee Khrab!

That will be in Nov. Another shopping, eating and, of course, running trip.

And from now till then, keep running! Keep going! :)
