Vietnam Trip: Ending Thoughts

Definitely a very fun trip. I would like to be like my sister who had went to a lot of other countries for backpacking too.

To summarise it all about this trip:

Vietnam Trip Day 9: Hanoi - Singapore

0730 Hrs:

Woke up. Felt like sleeping more but I was afraid that I would oversleep. Just laid down on the bed.

0830 Hrs:

Had breakfast. A very sunny Sunday morning.







After breakfast, I went back to the room to do my final packing. Wanted to make sure I left nothing behind.

1045 Hrs:

Checked out of the hotel. Asked the receptionists to help me call for a taxi.

The two receptionists. In blue is Thu Hang from Haiphong. She is studying tourism management and would be graduating this July. The other lady is Quynh. She is in he first year in university and majors in Japanese language.

There was this other gentleman who was checking out too. He is also a Singaporean and is here on a business trip. He told me he had lived in Hanoi for a year in the past for work too. Thus he is able to speak Vietnamese quite fluently.

1057 Hrs:

The taxi arrived to pick me. I said final goodbyes to the hotel staff.

Now then I noticed there is this barber shop next to the hotel.





Saw this along the way. Not sure what is this. Is it something like Arc de Triomphe in Paris?

1140 Hrs:

Reached Hanoi Noi Bai Airport. Cab fee is USD$10.







1230 Hrs:

Went inside the customs.

1310 Hrs:







Boarded the plane. There were copies of different newspapers at the entrance of the plane. Took a Sunday Times. Need to catch up with what happened back in home.

1340 Hrs:

SQ175 took off.

This was lunch.

1706 Hrs (Singapore time):

Still inside the plane. Watching 007 Casino Royal.

Feeling a bit bored after watching the movie.

1735 Hrs:

The plane successfully touched down. Temperature outside is 32 degree C.

Waiting to alight.

Still waiting .....

Long queue. I managed to find a counter serving only Singaporean citizens and PR.

My backpack is coming.

Going out of the glass door.

I am home!
